Do you have a passion for helping others? Sodexo is hiring our General Manager Food for the Minneapolis area. The General Manager - Campus is a highly visible role - will direct and participate in all of the daily food operations. Responsibilities include overseeing overall food and service operations, working with unit financials, HR functions, direct customer interaction and management employees.

 

An ideal candidate will build long-lasting relationships, have excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable in catering and experience managing high volume dining with retail food service business.

 

Our successful candidate will

Be responsible for all Sodexo and client required reportingWork to achieve company and client financial targets and goalsConsistently meet (and exceed) Sodexo standards of operationsWork to achieve high quality customer and client satisfaction scoresCreates a positive environment and successfully motivates and manages teamEnsure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standardsIntegrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership teamBe responsible for collaborating with the client on achieving annual operational projects and goals

Reporting to the District Manager, the ideal candidate will possess:

3-5 years food service leadership experience, preferably within campus diningThe ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent software literacyExcellent communication, leadership and customer service skillsStrong working knowledge of food safety/sanitation guidelinesExperience with budget and report managementExperience with Sodexo systems (preferred)Exceptional client relations skills
