The General Manager is an onsite role managing all administrative, maintenance, and projects to ensure the betterment of the community. The General Manager is the liaison among the homeowners, members of the Board of Directors, Committee Members, the association management staff, and maintenance vendors and contractors.
Daily responsibilities:
Issues violation letters to homeowners and follow-up to ensure remedied.\nMeet and greet homeowners, residents, members of the Board of Directors, maintenance vendors and contractors.\nResearch and respond to inquires in-person, by phone, and email.\nData enter and update information in the database; record and track documents and information.\nCreate and manage budgets; review financial reports, interpret Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Operating Expenses, and reserves.\nSubmit RFPs, manage the bidding and vendor selection process, develop vendor relationships, and mange capital projects.\nPrioritize maintenance requests and work orders; schedule and coordinate maintenance vendors and contractors for work to be done onsite.\nPrepare board packages. Coordinate and schedule monthly and annual board meetings.\nCreate and send out weekly mass communications by mail and email to homeowners notifying them of maintenance onsite, HOA guidelines, and community events.\nAssist homeowners in completing architectural review forms and follow-up with homeowners on the Board’s decision.\nOther projects as assigned.\n\n\n
Salary range: $78K - $100K
\n Requirements\n5+ years of Community Association experience, required.\nActive CMCA is required.\nPCAM is highly preferred.\nKnowledge of the role of the association board, the Community Association Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.\nKnowledge of MS Office Suite and typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.);customer service skills;conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n#LI-PK1
