At Morgan Philips, we are looking for a General Commercial Manager for the Iberian market for a multinational construction company. The General Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, maximizing profitability and ensuring market competitiveness.
Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economy or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably as a General Manager or in a similar capacity in the international environment. Experience in companies of building materials and equipment industry, durable consumer goods industry or chemicals/ technical industry. Experience and knowledge in establishing and managing sales organization, distribution and agents. Experience working efficiently in matrix organizations. Exceptional ability to interact with customers. Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management. Experience in marketing. English at least at the C1 level (speaking and writing). Readiness to frequently travel on business. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution. Being responsible for the commercial function, the General Manager will be expected to contribute to the company work also in a broader context, bearing co-responsibility for entire company as one of the key members of the team.
