JOB SUMMARY
\nAn onsite General Manager is responsible for supervising the administrative support staff of the Community Association assigned. The General Manager will provide oversight and support of the various departments within the Community Association which may include Food & Beverage, Facilities Maintenance, Custodial, Landscaping, Lifestyle, etc. The General Manager is the liaison to the residents, vendors, board members and committee members, as well as staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC) and within the branch office.This position requires staff to be onsite during business hours.
\nThis position is located in Frisco, TX.
\nJob Duties
\nDuties include but are not limited to:
\n\nAssist with implementation of Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects.\nSupervise administrative assistant at the community.\nAssist with employee hiring, training, supervising, and performance management.\nAssist with preparing schedules and establishes priorities for routine and special work projects.\nAssist with annual budget.\nAssist with the administration of the various functions of the community within the projected and approved operating budget.\nAct as a liaison between the Board of Directors and residents in the execution of the established policies and the conveyance of resident grievances.\nWorks as a liaison between the Board and legal counsel, as well as the Board and the Board Advisory Committees.\n\n\nProvide oversight of all association contractors to ensure adherence to contracts.\nMonitor and manage routine interior and exterior maintenance requirements for the clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, fitness center, picnic/playground areas and other designated areas as may be required.\nMonitor the monthly financial position of the association and report current standing to the Board of Directors.\n\n\nProvide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.\nMaintain knowledge of all Community Governing documents. Provide recommendations on revisions.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n RequirementsKnowledge and Skills
\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of the Association Board of Directors, the General Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.\nKnowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.)at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nSuccessful Candidate must have onsite HOA GM experience.\n\n\n\n#LI-KK2
