The General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer is a new role within the Athletics Department and will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the department’s financial operations, revenue-generating operations and name image and likeness (NIL) efforts and budget. This position will work alongside the Athletic Director to ensure that the Athletic department financial outlook is positioned to ensure financial health, foster new revenue opportunities, and align the department’s fiscal goals with the mission of both Athletics and the University, while recognizing the budgetary constraints. The General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer will manage other senior leaders in the Athletics Department including the Deputy Athletic Director of Business Development and the Deputy Athletic Director of Finance. The General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer will collaborate with other members of the Athletic Department, as well as executive leaders and colleagues in Finance, Facilities, Academics, Schools and Colleges and other academic and administrative units, to ensure the Athletic Department is meeting its contribution to the overall University student athlete experience and University goals. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently and within a team. The individual should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong multi-tasker and able to support executive priorities confidentially and deferentially.
