Our client is a strong player in driving travel experience. Due to rapid expansion they are looking for a General Manager to oversee the China business.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will develop and implement commercial plans for different business lines. You will evaluate the existing operating model and revamp to drive efficiency and profitability.

You will be the P&L owner for the China region. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen are required for this role to be part of the investment and market development plans.

You will determine channel, marketing, category and merchandising strategies that works to the best interests of particular regions. You will ensure operational efficiency and define commercial strategies such as promotion and assortments that fit to the consumer behaviour of different regions.

You will ensure operational activities are in accordance with local statutory and that necessary training are provided to up-skill front-line operators and enhance customer experience.

You will work with local government authorities on making commercial decisions.
