THE JOB:

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the management of the assigned restaurants. They provide direction and leadership for the Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager and the Restaurant Service team consistent with the MGM brand. They are responsible for leading the team to achieve the operational and financial goals of the venue; driving covers and optimizing reservation channels; monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; executing initiatives as implemented by property F&B leadership; maintaining the facilities in accordance with MGM Resorts service standards; and ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.

 

THE STARTING RATE:
The starting annual salary will be $95,000k

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, scheduling, and inventory control.Ensure great customer service and develop marketing strategies for long-term success.Work with the Executive Chef to manage the restaurant’s business plan and represent it in company meetings.Implement and enforce policies, pricing, training programs, menus, and company-wide initiatives.Maintain top health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all beverage areas.Ensure all staff complete required company training and compliance programs.Create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, feedback, and employee satisfaction.Hire, train, and develop staff while following company diversity and legal guidelines.Address guest feedback and complaints to ensure a great dining experience.Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team for smooth service.Stay knowledgeable about food, drinks, and restaurant equipment.Handle any additional tasks as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience2 years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage ManagementPrevious experience working in a high-volume restaurant or previous experience in a luxury or fine dining restaurant.Experience in Beverage ManagementProven experience building a bar program, creating drink menusAbility to create SOP from scratchAbility to work weekends and evenings to cover business needsExperience working with multiple Food and Beverage concepts

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$67,200.00 - $112,000.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.
