Job Description
A manufacturing company of old country tubular goods (OCTG) is looking for a General Manager to join their team to over see their Northeast Region. This will oversee Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
We are looking for candidates that have a background in sales in the oil industry specifically selling products vs. oil itself and have experience as a manager of people. You should have experience managing one or more sales representatives and a proven track record of successful business.
You should have a strong network in the industry in the Pennsylvania, Ohio or West Virginia to help strengthen the already identified line of business in the area. You will assist with full life cycle sales including identifying potential clients, cold calling, closing the deal, maintaining the relationship and continued support.
As a part of your day-to-day, you will be responsible for maintaining current standing relationships as well as building relationships with new clients. You will provide guidance and feedback to your sales team to ensure goals are being met for success of both the individual and the company.
This role requires residing in the Greater Pittsburg area with 50% of the time with local travel and 10% of the time with travel to Houston or Denver. This is a permanent role with a base salary range of $160-190k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of industry sales experience
-5+ years managing a sales team
-Experience selling oil products to customers in the Pennsylvania, Ohio and/or West Virginia area
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, business sales or related field -OCTG specific experience null
