General Manager of Trade Sales

Job Summary

The Pella General Manager of Trade Sales is responsible for the successful leadership of our new residential construction window and door sales team. We call this the Trade Sales Department and today the operation includes 5 showrooms and 20 team members across 60 counties in Michigan.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coach and develop the Trade Sales Managers Build and maintain relationships with all major accounts Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities Conduct annual sales forecasting and lead goal setting for the Trade Sales Team Lead and conduct quarterly sales meetings Develop and enforce an annual sales training strategy Drive the annual event calendar and participate in contractor events in our showrooms Set sales quotas and goals for the Trade Sales Managers and Sales Representatives Determine the trade sales pricing and margin strategy Support the Marketing Team with developing trade sales promotions and campaigns Serve as the liaison between Pella Corporation and the Trade Sales Team Serve as the face of the organization to internal and external residential contractors and builders Serve as the ultimate responsibility for the profitability of the Trade Sales division
