Honeywell Building Automation (BA) is a 7B USD business\nwhich creates products, software and technologies found in more than 10 million\nbuildings worldwide. Commercial building owners and occupants use our\ntechnologies to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable\nand productive.
BA is looking for General Manager ROA to support its\ncurrent $300 Mn USD regional business with high growth potential. The role\nwill be responsible for multiple business across ROA, including Projects and\nServices and Product Businesses. This is a key role in BA, targeted next role\nwill be VPGM India + ROA, Global GBE leader/ functional leader role. The GM will\nbe accountable for providing strategic and operational leadership to the\nstrategy, marketing and sales efforts across BA ROA. He or She is responsible\nfor developing a robust strategic plan and its execution with an emphasis on\ndriving technology enablement, product innovation, Sales and build strong\nexecution capability with support of ISC, CX, Finance and HR function in the\nregion.
This position directly reports to VPGM of India and ROA and\nmatrix reports to President Honeywell APAC.
Specific responsibilities include:
Drive employee engagement via effective Positive Employee Relations plans.
Lead a team to define and deliver value for Honeywell and customers through effective prioritization of regional objectives.Work through global business leadership to not only develop ROA business strategies but to ensure the strategies are well executed to drive results.Assure annual operation objectives are met, including but not limited to revenue, gross margin, cash flow, etc. Motivate and develop regional team to perform at optimal levelsCreate a high-performance regional team, coach and develop talent for larger roles in BA and for Honeywell
Ensure you have succession plan for your role at least two candidates ready in short span of time.Partner closely with global GBE leaders to build a regional BA strategy that aligns with global strategy but reflects the local competitive dynamic and unique growth opportunities present in the region.Address new business opportunities with appropriate strategy and organizational structuresBuild/maintain high-level customer relationship; develop programs for strong/trusted partnerships with key customersIn conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders, interface and influence key senior management and decision makers within BA and client organizations to enable decisions in favor of BA offerings. Develop and maintain high-level contacts with BA customers, Sales Intermediaries, suppliers and key decision makersDevelop and maintain effective Management operating system (periodic connects) & RAILs with achievable goals and objectives
Basic Requirements
An undergraduate\n degree in technical/engineering discipline is required along with an MBA\n from a preferred institute.At least 15 years work experience with at\n least 5 years of experience leading a regional P&L of 400-500\n Mn USDExperience of Multinational company for a better cultural fit with experience of both Products and Solutions Business, should have worked in a matrix environment.Demonstrated experience driving growth and organization changeAbility to motivate and build high performing teams.Experience the successful\ncandidate should bring:
