General Manager - Security & Access Solutions

As the Security & Access Solutions GM, Building Automation (BA), you will be responsible role for the Security\n& Access Solutions (SAS) Americas region.  The successful candidate will be a leader with a track record of\nsuccessfully building and leading a regional P&L to deliver outstanding\nresults. In this position, the GM must develop a business strategy, drive\nperformance, and provide overall cross-functional leadership to drive alignment\nto business strategies.  This role will\ndevelop marketplace opportunities in the vertical, lead sales pursuits, oversee\ninternal processes and provide employee leadership in the achievement of common\ngoals.  The role will also be responsible\nfor ensuring a safe and engaged workforce and customer satisfaction, in\ncollaboration with other regional managers, peers, employees and\ncross-functional teams. 

This position\nwill report to the President of the Building Automation Americas Region and will impact our organization by actively contributing to overall strategic\nplanning, leveraging investments across all businesses and managing Honeywell's\noverall market positioning.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage a high-performance team that takes ownership for delivering short- and long-term financial performance commitments.
Refine the Strategic Plan for the vertical/business to clearly define the business roadmap, breakthrough strategies, product portfolio priorities, channel strategy and channel management activities and competitive landscape.
Drive the continuous transformation of the business from providers of products and solutions to a leading software industrial business in their respective markets.
Maintain or achieve a leading position in each vertical and geographical market with an appropriate product, pricing, and channel strategy.
Ensure cross functional coordination for business to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue commitments.
Develop new and enhance existing relationships with end users, building/property owners, specifying engineers, system integrators.
Provide leadership and support to secure key projects.
Provide active leadership necessary to drive critical programs/projects to successful completion
Champion Customer Experience improvement projects: actively map the customer journey and drive continuous improvement to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty and simplify doing business with Honeywell.
Initiate/oversee operational productivity, continuous improvement and the application of productivity tools (HOS, Six Sigma, CP/S, etc.) throughout the factory and business teams.

 

YOU MUST\nHAVE
10+ years of leadership\n experience
People Leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree\n in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Profit & Loss\n Exposure
