The Gas Power Europe Services team is responsible for the management and execution of the service-related activities that support the Gas Power customers across the region. The Services Operations team is responsible for the management, analysis, reporting, and improvement of key business performance data, via visual communication platforms and continuous improvement programs.
The General Operations & Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for the entry, analysis, and reporting of KPI’s pertaining to the Gas Power Europe Services team. This role requires you to work horizontally across the organization developing strong networks in the ITO, OTR, and Functional teams, requiring you to partner with these teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
This position reports directly into the PFM CoE Leader, with a dotted line to Europe Services Operations Leader, and the Sales Enablement & Forecasting Leader.Job Description
What you’ll do
Accountable for the accuracy of Regional Installed Base with a focus on serviced units and equipment
Accountable for analysis and reporting of operational metrics including but not limited to:
Regional Installed Base accuracy
Customer satisfaction survey analytics
Outage readiness & performance metrics
Critical demand placement & short cycling metrics
Reason code & pareto chart accuracy
Coordinate and drive rigor on the operating rhythm of data collation, extraction, analysis & reporting
Partner with the Global Continuous Improvement Team to develop high performance dashboards that enable our teams to identify areas of risk and improvement
Partner with the Business Intelligence team and act as a liaison on operational performance metrics to the Commercial and Product Line teams
Partner with the Services, Sales Operations, and PFM Centre of Excellence teams to link customer feedback to continuous improvement initiatives regionally
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree / diploma in engineering, computer science, or other analytics and technically focused disciplines
Significant Data Analytics expertise, including SQL and Tableau experience in an organizational setting
Positive self-starter and quick learner, able to understand and rapidly come up to speed and contribute in new areas
Excellent oral, written, and visual communications skills in English
Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through
Able to interface effectively, influence and build strong networks across all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a global context/environment and proactively contribute to a Europe-wide network
Ability to assimilate, analyze complex data & extract meaningful findings, able to communicate and articulate clear outputs
Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, ERP systems and related software
