This position is responsible for the oversight, trouble shooting and installations of all electrical and software control aspect of all equipment. Candidate must be able to apply electrical and software knowledge as needed. Candidate will be tasked to work with others to help design and install new equipment and processes, as well as improve current equipment and processes and increase value through equipment and process performance improvements.
This is a qualified safety sensitive position which will require you to operate motorized vehicles and work at elevated heights.

Highlights of your role

• Develop machine schematics, specify component requirements, implement PLC machine code and assit in developing HMI interface requirements for production processes. Assist in providing technical support between data base system and control systems that directly affect plant operations.
• Facilitate and/or interface with other associates at all levels, including Engineers, Technicians, Production Associates, department teams and/or Marvin support departments.
• Design, review, and implement electrical controls on all equipment. Individual will have the ability to th ink creatively and suggest alternative design/development solutions for HMI interfacing and control.                              • Proficent in Electrial troubleshooting, installation, and PLC programming. •Knowledge of robotic programming and troubleshooting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through active participation on improvement teams and Kaizen events.
• Other assigned duties as needed

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

•Basic knowledge of system analysis and design.
• Knowledge of various programming languages like Visual Basic, Python, etc.
• Working knowledge of database creation and management for a production environment: SQL.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation systems: RSLogix500, RS Logix5000.
• Experience with PLC Hardware and Networking: Allen-Bradley, Ethernet RTUs.
• Knowledge of SCADA databases preferred: Igniton.
• Experience in CNC programming, Inventor & Gibbs CAM / CAD software integration.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, electrical installations, mechanical pneumatics systems.
• Ability to work in or lead a team; high level communication skills, verbal and written.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, math, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Able to multi-task, flexible, results-oriented; Dependable, motivated, self starter.
• Excellent interpersonal, time-management, and follow-up skills

Also want to make sure you have

Documented experience and success in the automated controls, programming and electrical installation and trouble shooting.
Technical or Trade School related training in the electrical field is a plus.
