Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Cell Operators will be stationed at their own designated 'Cell' and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process/steps are nearly identical regardless of which cell one is placed in.

ResponsibilitiesFill the molding tool with raw material by placing metal rings into slots.Flip the tool onto the machine for molding.Remove the molded rubber product from the machine and use an air brush to cool it down.Inspect the finished products for defects such as air bubbles and rips in the rubber.Dump inspected products into bins, weigh them to ensure the correct count, and move on to the next bin.Perform quality checks using a binder that outlines exact quality defects.Maintain a shift log at the work station, tracking operator details, maintenance, scrap, production goals, machine temperatures, and product specifications.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 35lbs 30 times/hour.Ability to stand on feet for full shift.Ability to work safely and follow quality standards.Ability to read and understand English.Strong communication skills.Enthusiasm about the opportunity.Why Work Here?Offering a $1500 sign-on bonus.Benefits start day 1 upon full-time employment.Climate-controlled work environment.Allowed drinks on the floor as long as they have a cap.11 paid holidays.Accrue up to 2 weeks of PTO + can purchase 5 days PTO throughout the year.Work Environment

Operators will work in a climate-controlled environment.

2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm)3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday, 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am).Smoking, tobacco use, or vaping on the property is prohibited, and employees cannot leave the facility during their shift.PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and safety sleeves will be provided. Operators can wear shorts and regular shoes, but no rings or jewelry are allowed, and long hair must be tied back.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.35 - $22.35/hr.
