General Production Worker

Job Description

We are looking for someone with experience in manufacturing, assembly, general production work, etc. to come in and train in a general production role that can transition into a machine operator role once permanent.

ResponsibilitiesOrganize edge lines in stacks of 20.Bind them together with a metal band and pass them down the line.Work in teams of 2 to complete this process, rotating roles every so often.Perform operations such as physical labor, binding of metal bands, stacking them into designated areas and preparing them for shipment.Essential SkillsPunch pressGeneral laborMachine set upInspectionMachine operationPrior manufacturing experience preferredAdditional Skills & QualificationsAny previous machine operating experience would be a plus as they could progress into this role for advancement.Physical labor experience, construction, manual labor are all advantageous.Why Work Here?

Our brand new facility is equipped with the latest machinery, offering opportunities for cross-training. The work environment is spacious and clean, though it can get dirty at times. We provide fans and heaters for comfort during summer and winter months. You will have the opportunity for a 90-day evaluation and annual reviews thereafter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
