**Job Overview:**
The General Superintendent Fab Ops is the overall Operational Supervisor for Fabrication Facility. It is also responsible for the overall supervision of all fabrication activities of the fabrication facility supporting an EPIC project [or part of] involving fabrication and/or marine installation.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Promote safety culture among the fabrication resources throughout the Facility
+ Establish high standards in safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts
+ Co-Chairs the Site weekly safety meeting
+ Responsible for planning, delivery and productivity of the pre-fabrication scope of work
+ Manage the Site Manpower Allocation for Pre-Fabrication and Projects
+ Ensure properly trained supervisory and craft personnel are available as needed
+ Monitor site productivity and schedule performance
+ Identify and resolve less than satisfactory performance
+ Partner with Operations Management, Quality Group and Project Group to institute measures for improvement.
+ Support the Constructability Program
+ Ensure Fabrication Lessons Learned are implemented and properly documented across all Projects
+ Liaise and coordinate internally within PMT, Construction and externally with the Client Construction Representative
+ Ensure the QA and HSE policies and procedures are correctly administered and executed
+ Responsible for assignment of project superintendents and any other specialty functional superintendents
+ Actively engaged in all meetings related to Fabrication Operations personnel
+ Ensuring the work pack process is properly utilized in the pre-fabrication and assembly areas
+ Assignment of Fabrication Operations personnel at site
+ Actively support the site layout plans ensuring Project and Functional Superintendents inputs are taken into account
+ Establishing Overtime Requirements at site
+ Work with Offshore E&M group to support as required
+ Drive Project Schedules
+ Weekly review of Project Requirements with Construction Managers and Operations Manager
+ Ensure Tools and Equipment are identified in order to have ready at site
+ Establishes the Budget for the Maintenance & Repair at site as well as site tools. Reviews and approves Purchases in accordance with these budgets.
+ Monitor and report to Operations Manager/Director of Fabrication any site issues, including progress and productivity risks in a timely manner

+ Over 15 years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery. Minimum of 5 leadership experience including employee hiring, coaching/counseling, workload planning/monitoring
+ Degree in Engineering or Construction. Equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
+ Must be available to spend 40% (forty percent) of their time at the fabrication site
**Preferred Qualifications and Education:**
+ Ability to work as a team member as well as team leader.
+ Have wide experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations.
+ Time management and organization skills with strong attention to detail/follow-up
+ Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
+ Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project.
+ Self-motivated, self-reliant and able to operate independently, while exercising good independent judgement and decision-making.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
+ Ability to stand for extended periods of time and safely maneuver around nearby presence of various equipment
+ Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, balance and stoop, reach on a regular basis
