Summary You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will process or coordinate corrections as necessary to establish customer orders, process corrections to customer orders and communicate effectively to address supply chain inquiries. You will review new policies, procedures, and systems to determine impact on local procedures and inform customers on current supply system procedures and changes as they occur. You will manage the efficient disposal procedures and responsibilities, enhancing the overall integrity and sustainability of the supply chain. You will oversee supply chain operations, including inventory tracking, stock control, and shelf-life program maintenance, utilizing tools such as Navy ERP, One Touch, and FEDLOG. You will utilize Navy ERP to process and validate requisitions and material orders using Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) to support inventory and procurement activities. You will resolve supply discrepancies (SDRs) through analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up communication. You will manage key supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with audit requirements while supporting material requisition goals. You will coordinate Casualty Reports (CASREPs) and prioritize requisitions to meet urgent operational needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying advanced knowledge of supply management, warehouse operations, and a full spectrum of logistics support. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1.) Managing supply chain operations, including inventory tracking, stock control, and shelf-life program maintenance using tools such as Navy ERP, One Touch, and FEDLOG; 2.) Extensive experience utilizing databases (NAVY ERP), to generate reports, analyze data, validate material obligations, and support inventory and procurement operations; 3.) Conducting substitutability research, cross-referencing part numbers and National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and resolving supply discrepancies (SDRs) through in-depth analysis and follow-up actions; 4.)Coordinating Casualty Reports (CASREPs) and Issue Priority Group requisitions, financial reconciliation, and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with audit regulations and efficient execution of funding and material requirements.
