Job Description SummarySoutheast Health, a 420-bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama, is seeking an additional General Surgeon to join their team. This group practices a mix of bread and butter surgeries such as hernia repair, cholecystectomy, colon resection, vascular access procedures, as well as some trauma surgery. Dothan offers a short 90-min drive to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida, a low cost of living, excellent educational facilities, and traditional southern hospitality.

This position addresses physician leadership for all aspects of the clinic. This position is responsible for all services/systems required for an organized, multidisciplinary team approach directed toward the provision of the highest quality patient care. This position addresses the maintenance of established patient care standards and protocols through continuous quality improvement and total quality management activities in the clinic.
