Our client, a leading global logistics company located in Santa Paula, CA, is seeking a dedicated General Worker to enhance their operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient loading and unloading of construction equipment, ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the facility.

Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload construction equipment from trailers and railcars.Operate various pieces of construction equipment, including driving, backing up, and managing attachments to facilitate transport.Work outdoors in various weather conditions to meet operational needs.Read and interpret shipping/receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, and export documentation.Maintain compliance by verifying serial numbers, piece counts, and the condition of all shipments in and out of the facility.Scale preloaded loads, checking gross and axle weights for roadworthiness.Operate hand tools such as banding machines, air wrenches, and hammers as part of loading and yard activities.Perform mechanical duties as required to support operations.

Requirements:

Current driver’s license for operating units during storage and distribution.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform required duties.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with potential Saturdays7:00 AM - 3:30 PM$19.00 per hour
