Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Life Cycle
Support recruiting and employment of positions in NEA and SEA by supporting managers through the employment requisition process and providing support throughout the employment process. Conduct new employee orientation and on-boarding processes. Facilitate employee exit and clearance procedures. Process workflows in HRIS in relation to employee movements and on/offboarding.
Benefits & Welfare Administration
Assist employees with record changes and company policies by accessing policy information when requested to keep employees accurately informed. Administer group life insurance, health and accident insurance, saving and retirement plans, and establishes and maintains working relationships with company staff and benefit providers. Administer compensation, benefit programs, employee activity programs for employees to insure consistency and reliability of these programs. Maintains employee leave application portals. Assist with year end activities such as generating leave entitlement, carry-over leave, public holiday initialization, insurance renewal administration. Collate Government paid leave scheme forms from employees.
Reporting/Administration
Assist with manpower and labour surveys and reports for the region. Collate monthly Sales Reports. Prepare monthly HR reports for reporting/presentation purposes. Monitor and support new and renewal work pass applications for employees. Process invoices from HR vendors/contractors. Liaise with internal/external vendor for staff badge creation. Support projects within APAC region as appropriate.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Experience handling such information is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in effectively dealing with employees at all levels of the organization. Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and balance job requirements from multiple managers. Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively Must have strong computer skills including the ability to word process using Word and create spreadsheets using Excel. This is a temporary role for 3 - 4 months on a part time basis (2~3 days a week)
