The Hartford is seeking a proactive Generative AI Solution Consultant to join our Innovation Center of Excellence. The Innovation Center of Excellence’s mission is to drive the adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities into our processes. In this role, you will be responsible for reimagining processes and services enabled by AI, conducting proof-of-concept experiments, and creating production solutions. This role will help to design and implement new processes, provide support, and oversight to existing projects, and participate in diverse teams to drive change and achieve effective business outcomes.

WORK ARRANGEMENTS: This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Responsibilities:

Business level understanding of AI and generative AI technologies, responsible for ongoing education and rollout of these technologies across Claims and Operations.

Reimagine processes and services enabled by AI, conducting POCs to evaluate available capabilities, and creating production solutions.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and develop solutions that meet business needs.

Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.

Review data and provide recommendations to improve processes and solutions.

Conduct current state analysis and design test & learns to measure problem hypotheses and key assumptions.

Analyze solution design options and recommend future state to address business problems and deliver improved outcomes.

Prepare presentation materials to communicate findings and recommendations.

Provide training and guidance to team members on new process changes.

Facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience in using generative AI technologies. (OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, etc)

Demonstrated experience in process improvement and optimization.

Experience in P&C or Group Benefits Claim preferred.

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data to inform decision-making and drive business improvements.

Experience in supporting the development of and executing business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and implementation plans.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Exceptional relationship management skills; interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across multiple business areas.

Strong time management skills and proven ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data science, or related field preferred

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$84,480 - $126,720
