Your Impact: To identify and assess the location, quantity and quality of mineral deposits.As Part of Our Team You Will: Design and supervise the exploration work to ensure it is delivered in line with the design, objectives and to standard.Monitor exploration performance against established KPIs, providing regular updates and analysis.Supervise the work to deliver results within KPI guidance.Supervise contractor work to maintain compliance with contractual obligations and exploration objectives.Deliver training and mentoring to geologists.Develop, plan and schedule work activities over 3 months to 1 year timeframe.Compile, assess, and interpret analytical results and report.Provide input into performance and individual development plans for more junior geologists.Assist with preparation, and present group budgets, systematic long term work programs and business plans.Report work program progress and follow up recommendations.Your Training, Skills And Experience Checklist:

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):

Bachelors’ Degree in Geological Sciences, Geological Engineering or Earth Science.

    

Additional Knowledge:

Exposure to Exploration management.Strategic Planning, Relevant regulations and compliance requirements.Current and anticipated new technologies and potential application.Greenfield exploration activities in diverse geographic settings.Project Management fundamentals, Leadership, Strong communication and performance management skills.

 

Experience: 

0 - 2 years’ work experience.

 Technical Skills: Competency in designing exploration programs and portfolio management.Competent ability to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights.Foundational proficiency with data visualization tools and modeling software (PowerBI, Tableau, resource modelling).Competent written and verbal communication skills.Competent ability to present information and summarize key messages to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
