Job Description

 

(This position is available in all seven of our regional locations in the states of MD, CO, GA, TX, CA, IL, & PA)   

 

Our Geostructural Engineering and Construction Internship provides students with an opportunity to develop and enhance their engineering and construction skills through hands-on learning.  Students will broaden their practical knowledge and experience as well as apply professional principles to real problems under the supervision of senior personnel.

 

As an intern, you will assume a wide variety of responsibilities at Schnabel, ensuring a solid understanding of the industry and our business. Responsibilities may include AutoCAD drafting, field data collection, site survey, project reports, quantity take-offs, design assistance, project management assistance, and monitoring construction projects.

Qualifications

 

Working towards B.S or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementGood oral and written communications skills, computer literacy, and a positive attitudeBasic knowledge and understanding of ACADBasic understanding of surveyingAbility to work in both office and fieldMust have a vehicle available for travel to jobsites as neededEligible to work in the United States
