Geotechnical Engineer
Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer Job Description A geotechnical engineering firm is looking to add a professional-level Geotechnical Engineer to oversee the design, review, stamping, and execution of projects in the Seattle area. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of experience working as a geotechnical engineer, particularly within the state of Washington. This position provides an excellent opportunity to lead the geotechnical division within the company. Responsibilities + Oversee the design, review, and execution of geotechnical engineering projects. + Ensure all projects meet regulatory and safety standards. + Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team. + Stamp and approve engineering designs and reports. + Conduct geotechnical analysis and environmental design. + Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Design and Engineering. + Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in Washington. + Minimum BS in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering. + Experience in engineering management and geotechnical analysis. + Ability to interact directly with clients. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with seismic site studies is preferred but not required. Work Environment The position is based in the Kirkland office with occasional site visits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $63.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
