UES is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our Dallas team. This position entails the delivery of comprehensive geotechnical services through the coordination and execution of field explorations and laboratory testing, the analysis/evaluation of those findings, the preparation of geotechnical reports, and communication with UES clients. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition. + Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively. + Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects. + Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation. + Execute smaller projects to gain experience in project management. + Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessary + Interpret field data and assign laboratory testing + Communicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clients + Prepare geotechnical reports + Assist with field activities during construction **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** + Minimum two years as a project manager (required). + Certification of Engineer in Training (required). + Bachelor's degree (B.S.) ABET or an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or geology. Master’s level degree or exposure to core civil engineering disciplines through coursework (M.S. or Ph.D.) in geotechnical engineering preferred. + Familiarity with modern office tools including the use of computer-based programs such as gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel, etc + Possession of a valid Texas driver license and a acceptable driving record UES is the #1 fastest-growing AEC firm on The Zweig Group’s Hot Firm list in 2021, 2022 & 2023.
