Verdantas is seeking a Geotechnical Staff Engineer II. This position will be located in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities: Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Institution 2-5 years of relevant work experience CAD experience a plus Strong calculation skills preferred The ability to interpret work plans
