About this role
Oversee geotechnical activities to ensure ground stability and compliance with standards.

What will you be responsible for?
Monitor daily port operations to ensure smooth workflowCollaborate with shipping and receiving departments to lead logisticsApply safety procedures to minimize workplace hazardsFormulate and sustain operational schedules for port activities inclusive of contractor management.Assess and refine loading and unloading processesAdhere to environmental regulations and standardsLead budget and resource allocation for port operationsExecute performance evaluations and training for team membersApply process improvements to enhance efficiencyResponsible for identifying relevant risks, applying mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risksThe above responsibilities are the main responsibilities of the position. The position also develops other activities that are not included in this document and the immediate supervisor is responsible for informing such activities.

To support the site, the position will require travel to appropriate locations (Mostly Cajamarca/Site and Lima).
The position will require living in Cajamarca, this is a national position with no expat benefits.
The person must be in good health and physical condition to work in the field in different climatic conditions and at altitudes of 4,000 meters above sea level.
The incumbent may be required to travel and assist other sites nationally and internationally.
The position is an On-Site role.
