The Geozone Credit Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end process from order placement to collection of invoices. This role ensures the smooth and efficient flow of orders, delivery, invoicing, and revenue recognition. This includes managing customer relationships, addressing invoice disputes, ensuring proactive collections and timely receipt of payment, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

QUALITY 

Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System. Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.

OPERATIONS 

Order Management: Overseeing the accurate processing of orders from customers, ensuring timely and error-free execution. Invoicing: Ensuring invoices are accurate and sent out on time, monitoring disputes, and working with customers to resolve invoicing issues. Cash Collection: Managing the timely collection of payments, working with customers to ensure outstanding payments are followed up, and reducing days sales outstanding (DSO). Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline the order-to-cash cycle, reducing inefficiencies, and increasing customer satisfaction. Team Leadership: Managing and coaching the O2C team, setting performance goals, and ensuring adherence to company policies and financial regulations. Reporting & Compliance: Preparing regular reports on cash flow, accounts receivable, and aging balances for senior management, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

COMMUNICATION 

Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external. Supervisors and Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports.

FINANCIAL 

All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 5 to 7 years of collections, billing, or related accounting background. Strong reporting, research, analysis, communications, and organisational skills as well as self-starting ability. Familiarity with contracts and laws relating to collections. Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office, database, and Get Paid software.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Negotiation skills to ensure delinquent accounts are brought back in line with payment terms. Problem solving. Lead team for strong collections follow up via telephone and email. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.  Business focus.  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
