Job Purpose
The KSAB Geozone Security Manager is the subject-matter-expert regarding Weatherford’s security management systems and programs within the assigned area. This role ensures all Weatherford security policies, standards and business practices, in alignment with client contractual security policies, are executed to provide a secure working and living environment for all Weatherford employees, clients and 3rd party workers (TPW) and any other person that falls under Weatherford’s remit for duty of care.
The KSAB Geozone Security Manager is responsible for implementing and managing departments strategic objectives throughout the Geozone. They design and develop operational risk strategies aligned with Weatherford’s security best practices to ensure that risks are managed to best achieve both protective and economic advantage of the company.
The KSAB Geozone Security Manager supports and reports direct to the MENA and Gulf States Security Manager in ensuring that the HSSE plan and security vertical objectives are met with flawless execution throughout the Geozone.
Responsibilities
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Maintains safety and service quality as first priorities when working across all areas of the business. Where required in the case of non-conformance, exercises ‘Stop Work Authority’ to suspend operations Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards, business practices and industry best practice. Ensures applicable Weatherford security regulations, policies, stadards and business practices are fully communicated, understood, implemented and continuously maintained across operational area of responsibility.OPERATIONAL CAPABILTY
Conduct responsibilities associated with Global Security Risk Area Program (RAP) namely, but not limited to; Security Risk Management (SRM), Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and Country Security Plans (CSP) as defined in the Organizational Security Business Practice. As defined by RAP, conduct internal security audits and reviews of all Weatherford locations, including but not limited to, HAZMAT locations, rig sites, non-rig sites, base camps, construction sites, staff houses and personnel accommodation. Support Weatherford Listen Up (Ethics Point) program as directed by Weatherford Counsel to investigate cases of a sensitive nature in liaison with the Global Head of Security for assigned area. Prepare the security element of Weatherford Invitation to Tenders (ITTs) via a detailed Security Scope of Work (SoW) and all other Security document requirements i.e. RFQs for surveys, Security specific KPI’s etc., required within your geography security remit, in liaison with applicable Supply Chain (SC) Management; Sales Force, Compliance, Legal and applicable Product Line Management for the GZ. Organize and manage the security aspect of the Geozone Disruptive Event Management (DEM) Team, Security Emergency Response Plans (SERP) and Security Emergency Evacuation Plans (SEEP) via applicable training and advise Geozone VPs, designates and PLM. Ensure accurate daily Personel on Board (POB) reporting systems are implemented in all locations in High and Extreme risk countries or countries where an active DEM has been initiated. Provide oversight management for all 3rd party security sub-contractors and their security provisions inclusive but not limited to; license to operate, movement permissions, risk register and response plans in support of Weatherford operations. Assist and support new market entry operations requiring security guidance in Geozone area remits in liaison with Weatherford Legal and Compliance, Supply Chain, PLM, 3PSPs and Government agencies. Working with Geozone VP & the Crisis Management & Business Continuity Team, provide support in facilitating the development and ongoing maintenance of the Geozone DEM program, as needed.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Liaise directly with client Security Managers building effective working relationships ensuring clarity of requirements and maintaining standards to client requirements in conjunction with bridging HSSE documents if applicable. Provide security advice and assistance to all Weatherford 3rd party security designated representatives, ensuring they are operating effectively via a direct and regular reporting format and abiding by Weatherford Security Policies and Business Practices
FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE
Monitor and action the utilization of security assets and manpower to ensure the accuracy of invoices submitted and that the most cost-effective measures are in place. Carry out rolling review of assets and manpower to try and meet financial targets while still maintaining the Security minimum standards. Provide RFQs for Tenders and Security Scope of Works, inclusive of Security pricing within the localized environment in liaison with Supply Chain, Legal and Service Agreements/Task Orders/Purchase Orders. Authority to release signatory for Security function via recommendations of Site Security Vulnerability Assessment.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Sound understanding and practical application of Financial and Human Resources processes. Manage and direct Security Project Managers (Expat/LN) and/or Weatherford Security Coordinators (LN) and /or Weatherford Field Security Liaison Advisors of geozone security focal points and ensure that they operate effectively with a direct and regular formatted report. Manage all sub-contractors and their security provisions. Manage and provide advice on Security incident management as and when required as part of LERT.
VISION & LEADERSHIP
Critical thinking/reasoning ability Provide oversight on all 3PSPs for WFRD MSAs and projects, ensuring they are always compliant to Weatherford Security minimum standards
Qualification
Oil and Gas sector experience is mandatory. (Manufacturing/Energy related experience to be considered) Previous experience in commercial security roles at regional level or above. Relevant employment history (military, law enforcement, government intelligence, corporate security) – in internationally deployed capacities. Comprehensive knowledge of document contruction and industry auditing standards. Intermediate skills at using Microsoft Office suite. Comprehensive knowledge of Security risk management. Physical Security. Personnel Security. Security investigations.
PREFFERED
Previous experience managing energy industry security risk in two or more H-RAP countries. (Five years minimum) University education. Formal qualification in security and/or risk management. (ILM Risk) Specialist security certification (CPP, PSP, CSMP etc.) or the ability to achieve certification in 12 months.
