We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Retail Manager to join our team, with a specific focus on the Duty Free channel in Brazil and direct report to the Head of Sales Key Account. This role will be responsible for managing and expanding our presence in Duty Free environment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and driving sales growth that aligns with the channel strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Channel Management:**
+ Oversee all aspects of the Duty Free channel within Travel Retail in Brazil.
+ Develop the channel and the category growth strategy in partnership with key stakeholders, focusing on the main roles of the channel, and lead its implementation and alignment with the client.
+ Build and develop JBPs with key partners to drive sustainable growth: monitor results, review goals and objectives, ensure commercial alignment, etc.
+ Manage stock levels to maintain optimal inventory without exceeding the maximum cover of 5 months at brand level.
+ Plan and execute training programs for teams involved in the Duty Free channel.
+ Coordinate with the Innovation team on the pipeline of new products, ensuring alignment with Global Travel and exclusive products available for the channel.
**Sales & Marketing:**
+ Drive sales growth through effective promotional activities and brand building activations, ensuring that the brand is well positioned and well-aligned with global terms.
+ Collaborate with marketing teams to develop tailored campaigns that resonate with international travelers.
+ Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
**Customer Relations:**
+ Build strong relationships with the retailer and conduct regular visits to major stores across Brazil.
+ Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
**Financial and Value Chain Management:**
+ Construct and monitor P&L statements for the Duty Free channel.
+ Track Days on Hand (DOH), interacting externally for quick solutions and adjustments.
+ Regularly update the Value Chain for the channel considering market movements related to pricing.
+ Monitor FX rates to ensure price perception is maintained while achieving savings compared to the local market.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in travel retail.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building skills.
+ Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
+ Proficiency in English and intermediary Spanish.
