JOB OVERVIEW 

The main duty of a Claims Officer is to handle German claims. Claims Officer will focus on properly assessing and paying claims as per policy terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities/ what you do

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Checking insurance cover, including preview and premium checks
The examination of the entitlement to benefits in accordance with the insurance conditions
Assessment of medical conditions and diagnoses
The regulation and payment of benefits to our customers 
Written correspondence with our customers in German and English language
The examination and assessment of recourse claims.
 

Minimum Requirements/ what you bring 

Bachelor’s of Medicine (MBBS)
Medical 1 year Practical Experience in UAE claims, DRG claims and coding skills (reputable insurance provider, broker or a TPA experience a plus).
Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
