Saft's Energy Storage Systems division is recruiting its Germany & East Europe Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
He/she is responsible for technical expertise on Saft's ESS products with the aim of developing competitive technical solutions for our customers.He/she is the main technical interface between the client and the internal team. Defines and prepares the technical sizing and requirements of Saft energy storage solutions to customer specifications. Provides technical support to business and sales teams and interacts with project, product and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction, product suitability for the market and continuous improvement. The scope of action is international with projects in Germany & East Europe. Ensures Saft technical knowledge is always current and relevant to ESS applications. Documents this knowledge in Saft databases and tools.
He manages all aspects of large Energy Storage Solutions projects bid, from customer requirements analysis to bid process management and Operation Hand Over. He will have to interact with various multi-discipline professionals: Applications Engineers, AC Team, Service Team, Purchasing, Legal, Operation, Subcontractors.

Anticipate trends in the market (Regulatory aspects, Market Opening, applications change…) Build & Maintain strong & long-lasting relationship with customers at all level (Engineering / Purchasing/C-Suite...) Define & implement a commercial strategy to develop & grow the business in a sustainable way in the area: Go to Market/Customer Mapping (IPP/EPC/Financial/TSO-DSO…) /Competition analysis, Actions plan… Identify new opportunities (ACTIVE Business development approach) throughout the range of applications targeted (Leads /New-Existing Customers approach, opportunities nurturing, Global partnership, …) Apply the ESS Process Lead the negotiation with the customers with Legal support: T&Cs, Guarantee, Terms of payment, … Provide Winning strategy inputs for the Bid & Application Engineer (Customer needs, Competition, Financing, target price, differentiating factors, Projects risks…) and support the offer preparation. Be accountable for the Order/Margin Budget and provide plan (Concrete & actionable actions) to meet/exceed targets.
