This position assists the Suite’s Captain and Suite’s Area Manager with Food & Beverage service within the Club Lounge and GC Catering areas at GIANT Center. Club/Catering Attendant will primarily work at GIANT Center, but will also assist other locations at the Hershey Entertainment Complex.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Preparing Club Lounge and/or Catering areas for food and beverage service*

Run the point-of-sales system

Assist with food preparation,  production, and service

Monitor guest seating area for cleanliness standards and to keep soda and condiments stocked

Cleaning, sanitizing, and sweeping/mopping work areas, to include; food prep areas, other food contact surfaces, patio/condiment areas, and floors/walkways*

Performing opening and closing procedures related to the assigned location and as directed by supervisors and managers*

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older on the date of applying

Must complete RAMP Alcohol Service Certification upon employment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests

Job Demands:

Hours will vary according to event schedules - must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements include standing (for periods up to 5 hours at a time, prior to break or end of shift), walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance

Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. 

Employee must provide proper footwear (black non-skid/non-slip sneakers)

Work environment can be very loud at times based on events occurring within the venue
