Girl/Boy Friday Job, Westbourne Park, April start

A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Girl (or boy!) Friday type of candidate to help care for their daughter aged 10 years old. They also have a 13-year-old son who is in boarding school during term time.

The family is looking for someone open-minded with a positive and “can-do” attitude. More than anything else, a true willingness to help where needed is very valued by the family. The ideal candidate will be kind and down-to-earth, with the confidence and common sense required to perform this sole charge role.

This is an afternoon role during term time, but more hours will be required during school holidays. The family may travel during such times and not require any help with the children or cooking, so the duties would then be more PA/household focused. The family will also be away during the month of August, so the lucky candidate would ideally take holidays then.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with similar-aged children is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Cooking for the family (casual / family meals) Helping with homework Online grocery shopping Helping to keep the house tidy Running errands such as dry cleaner Encouraging the children to be tidy and responsible

Salary: £40,000 GPA
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours:
- During term time: 2pm to 8pm (early finish at 6pm on Fridays)
- During some school holidays: 8.30am to 7pm
Driving: bonus but not essential
Travel: not required
Language: English essential
