Description : ***This is a hybrid position. The candidate should expect to be onsite as often as four days a week. The candidate will need to be in NC, and preferably in the Raleigh area. The Technical Specialist is a senior-level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology. The Technical Specialist has an overall knowledge and understanding of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program. Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty. Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/ products. Listen to issues and provide solutions independently based on GIS capabilities Stay up to date with current GIS software, particularly online visualization tools Analyze the requirements and issues related to business requests Use Experience Builder and Dashboards to display data Update data and dashboards on the fly in accordance with changing requirements during meetings Write Python scripts and Models using ModelBuilder to streamline and automate workflows.
