Kimley-Horn is looking for a GIS Analyst to support our Civil Engineering practice in our Virginia Beach, Virginia (VA) office!
Responsibilities Designing, compiling, analyzing, and creating geographic data Geodatabase management and preprocessing of data Reviewing and digitizing construction record drawings in a GIS compatible format Coordinating and performing field work to locate existing assets Leading the development of applications and dashboards in an ArcGIS Enterprise Environment Perform complex analytical tabular and spatial queries. Design, create and print professional level graphic representations of the data as maps. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a concentration in GIS, Geography, related field, or applicable work experience 3+ years of direct experience working within consulting, government, or academic teams using geospatial technologies GIS certificate or graduate degree preferred Expertise in Esri ArcGIS Pro and related extensions Proficiency with Python, Arcade, SQL, or other GIS related languages Proficiency with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise Platforms with a focus on Dashboards, Experience Builder, Field Maps, and Survey123 configuration. Exposure to ArcGIS Enterprise Administration including the creation of and best management practices for web mapping services, geoprocessing services, etc. Exposure to relational database systems (Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.) Understand how to mine and integrate data from a variety of sources Understand database design and development concepts Ability to manage multiple priorities/responsibilities Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
