Our Client, a Materials Engineering company, is looking for a GIS-Application Engineer – Advanced for their Santa Clara ,CA location. Responsibilities: + Working proficiency using visual studio, C#, .Net, databases and use of SQL as mandatory + Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards + Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as equipment automation developer is required. + Experience working with other factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC) + Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solution, integrated with other key factory and business systems, for our customers + Work with product development team to develop new solutions and products with address market demands + Coordinate with customer’s systems administration and IT teams on deploying, configuring, developing and deploying EA solutions. + Present technical information customers including technical contributors and managers. + Create, evolve and implement EA application training and/or demonstrations + Project management tasks in accordance with APG standard PM lifecycle + Perform software installations at customer locations + Knowledge base contribution/management + Respond to customer requests for proposal (RFP) and requirements collection + Develop and deliver statements of work (SOW) and cost estimates for projects + Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.
