**Overview** Kimley-Horn is looking for a GIS Intern to join our St. Petersburg, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote postion. **Responsibilities** + Perform research and analyze GIS data from various data sources + Design and create graphic representations of data as exhibits/maps + Create interactive Esri ArcGIS web and mobile applications + Review of GIS datasets for quality and completeness + Demonstrated ability or desire to provide data-driven solutions + Excellent communication to identify, seek, and promote geospatial thinking + Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic + Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines + Attention to detail and ability to contribute to a positive work environment + Passion and demonstrated drive to identify and achieve goals **Qualifications** + In the process of receiving a Bachelors or Masters Degree in GIS or similar + Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro + Experience editing and creating GIS data + Experience using spatial and tabular databases + Knowledge of ArcGIS Online + Knowledge of basic geoprocessing tools to analyze and manipulate data + Proficient with Microsoft Office programs specifically, Excel **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
