CDR Maguire, Inc., a national engineering and emergency management firm, is seeking a skilled GIS Professional to support data analysis, mapping, and spatial information management for our projects. The GIS Professional will work closely with project teams to manage geographic data, create high-quality maps, and provide critical insights using geospatial analysis tools. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in GIS applications, preferably in disaster management, environmental projects, or infrastructure planning.

Essential Functions

Develop, analyze, and maintain geographic data using GIS software, including but not limited to ArcGIS, QGIS, and other mapping tools. Create and update high-quality maps, visualizations, and reports to support project teams, including spatial analysis of key features relevant to project needs. Manage data layers, geodatabases, and spatial information to ensure data integrity and usability. Perform spatial analysis, modeling, and data quality assurance to provide insights and solutions for project challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, design solutions, and ensure spatial data supports project objectives. Support data collection, transformation, and integration efforts, including field data when necessary. Maintain documentation of GIS workflows, methodologies, and data management practices for future reference and continuity. Assist with GIS technical support, troubleshooting, and user training for team members unfamiliar with GIS tools.
