Due to expansion of our Shared Service Centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki we are looking for  the new colleague - GL Accountant.

Job Responsibilities

 

At this position you will:

Record and verify daily operations and business within General ledger activates, Prepare and review of journal entries, calculating accruals/provisions related to period-end activities, Handle General Ledger activities such as: perform period-end procedures of month, quarter, year-end closing activities for non-complex entities, fixed assets handling, balance sheet reconciliation, sub-ledgers to GL reconciliations, reporting, etc. Ensure compliance with company accounting and operational guidelines, as well as IFRS and local statutory GAAP, Oversee bank accounts including unapplied and unreconciled Items, Check and analyze SAP details on an ongoing basis to be able to catch any potential posting errors or process issues, Do Intercompany and loan reconciliations, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions, Support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements, Work with local or SSC finance teams to resolve discrepancies and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner, Comply with standards, policies and procedures defined,  Assist in developing and implementing processes and procedures. Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or recognized accounting qualification, Around 4 years professional experience in finance & accounting, including +2 years of experience in general ledger/ R2R at similar position in a multinational company or Shared Service Centre, Good skills (B2) in spoken and written English (other languages are welcome), Practical knowledge of integrated ERP system, Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills, Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with deadlines and stress situations, Teamwork and ability to work in changing environment with different cultures, Customer focus and good communication skills, Ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities, Proactivity and analytical skills.
