Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to: bank reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and tax-related activities for Polish market.
Bank Reconciliations: Download and book bank statements, clear bank-clearing accounts, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Journal Entries: Prepare and book PFRON, Payroll, Accruals, Lease, Loan journal entries. Monthly reconciliation: Accounts reconciliation in internal tool. Cash Collection: Book and clear cash collections records report preparation. Fixed assets: reviews and disposals Reclassifications: Identify and correct prepayments and incorrect AP bookings. Intercompany Processes: Oversee intercompany processes, including invoice issuing and reporting. Employee Sales Invoices: Issue and book employee sales invoices. Accounts Payable: Oversee the AP process, including WHT controlling and accounting Internal reporting and calculations : Employee list management, Case code management, Cost+ Calculation/ booking/ invoices issuing, X-Charges JE preparing, Expenses and spend reportIntercompany Balances: Confirm intercompany balances. Accruals: Calculate and book vacation accruals, vendor/employee accruals, Audit Tasks: Assist with audit tasks, including tax office audits. Tax Reporting: Prepare international tax package reports, tax provision reports, footnote reports, TP compliance reports, tax receipts reports, and other tax-related reports.Maintain contact with internal and external providers and serve as a point of contact for GBS employees.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance & Accounting or similar fieldStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesExperience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger: 3-6 yearsExperience in Polish accountancy – will be an assetProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP)Fluent English (C1 level)Excellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCIMA, ACCA certification – will be an assetWe offer:
