GL Accounting Controller Job ID 204082 Posted 05-Feb-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Warsaw - Mazowieckie - Poland **About the Role:** As a CBRE GL Accounting Controller, you will assist in the development and maintenance of planning and budget systems and the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures for Novartis account. This job is part of the Accounting & Finance / Controlling job function. They are responsible for the Management of the organization's financial controls and the preparation of financial and client reports for management and shareholders. **What You’ll Do:** + Month end close management e.g. journal entries preparation, P&L and BS analysis, BSR, Responsible for accruals and deferrals in the monthly financial statements + Coordination of the budget process and preparation of the forecast + Assisting in variance analysis + Supporting the management in strategic planning and decision-making + Preparation of financial and operational key performance indicators + Analyzing operating costs and evaluating cost-cutting initiatives + Implementation of business cases and scenario analyses + Increasing cost transparency to support the customer in data-based decisions making + Implementation and control of customer billing processes + Implementation of automation and process optimization + Support with internal and external audit requests + Carrying out ad hoc analysis + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy. + Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions. + Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking. , **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Very good knowledge of Excel + Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset. + Expert math skills.
