Tasks and Qualifications:

What You'll Do

Coordinate the shared service center’s GL accounting, assuring the correct reporting and closing activitiesResponsible for VAT and tax reportingUpdate and control the IFRS accounts in the internal leasing packageCashflow and cash planningClose cooperation with shared service center and purchase team for postings, cost allocations, customer and vendor paymentsPreparation and filing of monthly and annual reporting packages for local and global managementPrepare and coordinates the internal and external audit, annual accountUnderstand and update the accounting flows to close correctly and report in timeSupport controlling team for budget/forecast

What You'll Need

Minimum a bachelor’s in accounting or FinanceYou have 5-6 years of experience in accounting with a strong involvement in vat/tax reporting preferably in an international environmentStrong experience in Belgian VAT reportingSAP knowledgeExperience dealing in month/year end closingsProactive, hands-on approach to project managementA flexible mindset, and a positive attitude, able to evolve in a dynamic corporate environmentWork accurate, in detail and independentExperience implementing processes and control environmentsA team player and analytical problem solverFluency in Dutch and English
