A Brief Job SummaryThe position of Glazing Service Technician is responsible for on-site installation and repair of aluminum glazing systems, doors, hardware and glass units in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential settings. As a service team member, you will provide high-quality customer service to our clients throughout the HRM and NS. The candidate will perform fresh installations, preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance.
How Will We Help You Grow?-Competitive wages-Safety and Technical training-Opportunities for career development-Mobile apps and training programs available to help you develop your skills and advance your career with Flynn What Will You Work On?-Installing, servicing, and repairing doors and door hardware.-Installing, servicing, and repairing various types of glazing systems.-Conducting site investigations and compiling the information required to build competitive quotations.-Constantly updating your technical skills and knowledge and not being afraid to bring your colleagues along for the ride. Who Are We Looking For?-2+ years of experience -AAADM certification would be an asset-Strong mechanical aptitude and prior construction or maintenance experience-Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide solutions-Able to read basic blueprints and product/installation specifications-Able to work collaboratively with other tradespeople (in-house and in the field)-Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of this industry-Eager to be constantly improving your knowledge and skills in this industry and always willing to share that knowledge with other members of the team-Ability to complete all necessary paperwork and phone-based service application entries in a timely manner
