Global Account Manager, Media and Entertainment
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a sales professional to help manage our relationship with one of the largest media companies in the world. The Global Account Manager (GAM) will be responsible for providing regional and segment based business leadership and management within this global account. Your responsibilities will include identifying great ways to improve outcomes for customers, driving revenue & adoption, and helping refine the AWS strategy within the Media and Entertainment vertical market segment. This role will own, define, develop, and execute a business plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets while thinking strategically about long term customer outcomes.



Key job responsibilities
The GAM is responsible for teaming with the customer’s Business & IT Organizations to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while driving revenue and market share. The GAM is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The GAM will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. Maintaining a robust sales pipeline and developing formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS are core to the role.
