Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Global Account Manager (Customer Manager), located in Tokyo, JP. This role is responsible for leading NORDEL (EPDM) global account team for JOEMs in automotive industory and required to maximize NORDEL sales, strategy building and keep up customer intimacy together with Dow global stakeholders. Target application is not limited in automotive, and it's also required to find new blue ocean for NORDEL by closely work with R&D and Marketing team by driving innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
Account management on new/existing customers togather with global account team to hit sales plan Distributor management to lead them to grow more followed by Dow's directions. Strategy building aim to growth market share more than double for next 5 yrs by increasing in Japan Account plan execution followed by strategy with internal stackholders (production team, marketing managers and supply chain/logistics) Identify new business opportunities at new/existing customers or cross-selling area to contribute the selling up our plant capacity.Lead on innovation by utilizing uniqueness of NORDEL with technical folks Manage and address customers conflicts working with internal functionsValue chain management from downstream end-users to upstreamDocument key development progress and learning experiencesRelationship building with JOEMsJob Qualifications:
Strong initiative, ownership, accountability, passion and proactive working attitude Experience in the Chemical or plastics/rubber industry is preferredA minimum of 5 years of sales/commercial experienceKnowledge and experience on Automotive industry is preferred Good inter-personnel skill and team player, yet able to work independently and take the lead to achieve sales goalAbility to develop and execute strategiesCommunication skills and the ability to build networks inside/outside companyFluent in the English languageAvailability for frequent travels (mainly domestic and SEA where JOEMs strong futprint on auto produciton)Benefits – What Dow offers you
