Global Alternatives Solutions Business Analyst II

Position Description:

This role will assume responsibility for support of, and technology solutions for, the different departments within SEI. The Global Alternatives Solutions Business Analyst II will be responsible for the maintenance, development and support of current and future solutions related to the Investment Manager Services division. 

What you’ll do:

Facilitate in the design, creation and implementation of technology solutions with primary focus on new business.

Participate on various project teams across different departments and locations.

Identify business and technology strategies and solutions that create efficient operational process in line with business directions

Complete detailed project plans associated with solution development and implementation based upon agreed business requirements and provide senior management with regular updates on the status of these projects.

Stay abreast of current industry developments and competitor analysis.

Through the appropriate interpersonal skills and methods, be responsible for guiding and positively influencing the actions of individuals and groups toward achieving desired results, promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Work with internal managers and project team members to ensure that project tasks and responsible party deadlines are adhered to based upon agreed project plans.

Maintain a good working relationship with clients, vendors and internal business units.

Provide sales support as needed on the various services and solutions that SEI has on offer.

Ad-hoc projects / tasks as required.

What you bring to the table:

Third Level Degree in Finance, Business Development or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of fund industry related experience in fields of financial and business development.

Knowledge of alternatives fund accounting – i.e. Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate etc.

Experience using data visualization and analytics tools like Alteryx and PowerBI

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

Knowledge and expertise in FIS Investran and Advent Geneva

Project Management experience.

Knowledge of the broader FIS solution suite is an advantage

Ability to travel (including internationally), as required
