AART Internships within Fidelity’s Asset Management division give students the opportunity to combine economic, quantitative, and fundamental research skills to assist our research analysts, portfolio managers, and investment teams in their decision-making processes.

Education and Experience

Class of 2026 or 2027 Bachelor’s degree candidatesDemonstrated experience/interest/skill in econometrics, statistics and/or quantitative analysisIntellectual curiosity across a broad array of topics, including global events, trends, and history; economics, and financial marketsExcellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, as well as the ability to clearly articulate findings

Global Asset Allocation Research Internship

The Asset Allocation Research Team (AART) conducts economic, fundamental, and quantitative research to develop asset allocation recommendations for Fidelity’s portfolio managers and investment teams. AART provides investment perspectives across Fidelity’s asset management unit to generate insights on macroeconomic and financial market trends and implications for asset allocation. The intern on this team works with research analysts to further develop research conclusions on macro, market, and portfolio construction topics.

We are seeking candidates who have strong analytical abilities (mathematics, economics, statistics, programming) who think creatively and critically. The candidate will also have strong communication and collaboration skills.
