Global Banking Financial Analysis - Vice President

As a Vice President in the GB Finance Analytics team, you will partner with business managers, strategy, and finance teams to deliver business and financial analytics for GB and its segments. You will provide analyses that inform public disclosures, support Investor Day and industry conferences, and help drive the business strategy. In this role, you will create, maintain, and review financial models, conduct deep-dive analyses, and propose solutions to key business challenges. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the Global Bank, develop insightful reporting, and lead a team focused on continuous improvement and automation.

Job Responsibilities

Lead dialogue with senior business leadership and stakeholders to provide insights on business trends, financial performance, and industry strategyPrepare presentation materials and financial analytics for senior management meetings, quarterly reviews, and budget discussionsCreate, maintain, and review recurring and ad-hoc financial models and analysesConduct deep-dive analyses on key issues impacting clients and the business, identifying root causes and proposing solutionsDevelop, consolidate, and present qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for senior management and internal clientsSupport and participate in ad-hoc special projects and requests as neededPartner with Business Management and Analytics teams to develop insightful reporting and drive actionable dialogueDrive process simplification, automation, and enhancement of analytics and business supportLead and manage a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting and corporate finance with at least 5 years of experienceUnderstands a Bank’s balance sheet and P&LExperience in corporate financial analytics / understanding of key driversExceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinkerExcellent oral & written communication and relationship management skillsStrong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriatelyStrong work ethic; work well in a fast-paced environmentProactive and have a sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlinesThe candidate must be a self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessaryAbility to build strong partnerships with colleagues

Management consulting, corporate finance, or accounting experience preferredPrior experience with EssbaseAdvanced data visualization skillsExperience leading and managing teams, including cross-functional collaborationExposure to automation and process improvement initiativesExperience supporting Investor Day or industry conference presentationsDemonstrated ability to drive value-add change
