Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
OUR IMPACT
The Data Modelling and Data Analytics (DMDA) team leads Business Intelligence initiatives in close partnership with multiple teams including the Client Experience Organization to implement high quality analytics and reporting solutions to meet business goals. DMDA is a part of Global Banking and Markets responsible for creating and overseeing the data architecture that drives operational business decisions and strategy. A BI professional on this team provides the dashboards, reports, and metrics which enables Goldman Sachs to successfully improve operational performance to meet client expectations and drive client satisfaction.
The team is seeking a skilled professional who will provide business insights for data driven decisions. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem solving and client service skills to support the various business units and clients. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience.

Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Digital TransformationAnalytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work within a high-risk environment and meet challenging deadlines and targetsAbility to communicate clearly with end users, development managers and other stakeholdersProficient in database query languages such as SQLProficient in Data Visualization with tools such as TableauProficient in data analytics using tools such as Alteryx or Power BIExperience with using multi-dimensional data modeling/data warehousing for data analytics and reportingPreferred Qualifications
